Above all, Megan is a lifelong learner and teacher, fully committed to helping others achieve their goals through personalized care and guidance.
While Megan’s expertise as a physical therapist is vast, she’s not a physician, registered dietitian, pharmacist, personal trainer, chiropractor, psychologist, massage therapist, or pelvic physical therapist. She values the unique skills of each profession, collaborating and overlapping where needed to provide the best care possible.
A note from Megan ...
I will guide you through the process of reaching your goals, and give you the tools and resources you need.
I will laugh, cry, cheer and pout right alongside you.
I will cheer you on all the way to the finish line … and beyond - because we know there is always more on the horizon.
I will work with you to identify your goals, achieve them, and then set new goals.
I will teach you how to not need me.
I will help YOU be the catalyst for your own change.

WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING ABOUT MEGAN AND IMMERSION PT?
“As a runner, going into my first appointment with a pulled groin, I was nervous and feeling sorry for myself. Being sidelined with an injury is one of the worst nightmares for an athlete. I quickly learned how lucky I was to be in the hands of Megan James. Her passion, curiosity, and determination gave me comfort in knowing that she would get me back to the sport I love. She was compassionate but also, her hard-working demeanor let me know that she expected me to do my homework. My time in Megan’s care gave me skills that I will use for a lifetime. The work she gave me is a set of small exercises I literally do to this day, 5 years later, any time I feel “off”. Her goal wasn’t only to get me back to running, but also to help me fix the cause so that hopefully I won’t have that injury again. By working together, we were able to accomplish that!
If you are looking for a physical therapist who gets how vital it is for you to get back to the sport you love, who has the drive to find the root cause of your injury, and who has the tools to give you solutions to take with you that will help you beyond your time with her, Megan James is for you!”

“Meg was my physical therapist when I was having pain in my hip and lower back. I was starting to run again after having two children, but became unable to run due to those issues. I went to see Meg to get me back on track. She helped me to stretch and strengthen the muscles that were bothering me, and also reminded me that I was coming back from two C-sections, and that my core (abs, back, etc.) was understandably weak. Meg developed a holistic treatment that addressed the specific areas that were giving me pain and the areas around them. I have been running without pain since them, and continue to incorporate the strength and stretching exercises Meg taught me.”
